Brooks 2025 Road Line Up Introduction
Famed for their super comfortable shoes which offer a dependable ride for all manner of runners, Brooks has a huge global following. Whilst they may make some very dependable daily shoes, their top end racing line up and uptempo shoes have sometimes lacked a little pzazz. However, the Brooks 2025 road line up sees them bound into the future with a range of new midsole foams, geometries and aesthetics. Read on to find out what the Seattle shoe giants have in store for you.
Brooks Hyperion Elite 5 Preview
The Hyperion Elite 4 was a very comfortable shoe which was let down by a lacklustre foam for the price point. Then came the Hyperion Elite 4 PB which added DNA Gold as the midsole compound, finally, Brooks has dived into the peba pool. This marks a major change to the Brooks 2025 road line up.
Now, we come to the Hyperion Elite 5. The DNA Gold midsole remains but the design and geometry have changed. You can’t miss the massive bubbles in the rear of the midsole. These are not just an aesthetic choice. No sir, they are there to reduce the weight in the shoe and improve the rebound rather than leaving a void.
According to Brooks, this is their most widely tested shoe to date. Aside from their regular elite athlete testing pool, they widened the testing pool. From this larger database, reports were that this is the lightest and fastest feeling shoe yet. Sticking within the World Athletics rules for their elite athletes, the heel has the maximum 40mm of foam and an 8mm drop. If you fancy the look of this, you can pick it up in July 2025 for €275.

Brooks Hyperion Max 3 Preview
Another big update and another new midsole from the Seattle shoe makers. The Hyperion Max 3 also gets the peba treatment. The midsole becomes a dual layer affair with DNA Gold for pop on top and DNA Flash v2 on the bottom for stability. Not only has the compound been upgraded, the plate receives a new geometry to make the roll through the gait cycle smoother.
To keep the shoe on the svelte side, the midsole cutouts help reduce the weight. It retains its place as the uptempo companion for the jewel of the Brooks 2025 road line up, the Hyperion Elite 5. However, the new dual compound midsole also adds comfort and response for those long run expeditions. While the super trainer has been upgraded, the price has remained the same. Brooks Glycerin 22 Preview
Always one of Brooks’ best sellers, the Glycerin has a huge update for the 22nd version. The pinnacle of the daily side of the Brooks 2025 road line up gets a completely new feel. Gone is the DNA Loft v3. It is replaced with the brand new DNA Tuned foam to match the Glycerin Max. A funky mix of two cell types, the compound adds both softness and responsiveness. The small cells add propulsion and some pop while the big cells are there for a soft, cushioned landing.
Not only does the midsole get a redo, Brooks have also elevated the upper. Increased comfort and lockdown come from a redesigned heel collar cushion. Aside from this, the aesthetics also make it look like a new shoe.
The Glycerin 21 was a big favourite of the Meta Endurance reviewers and we are very excited to see how the new midsole technology works out in a minimised form. If you want to see how well it works, you can pick up a pair in January 2025 for €180.

Brooks Hyperion 3 Preview
Continuing the big upgrades to the speed line of Brooks 2025 road line up, the Hyperion 3 gains a bigger midsole. Not only have the designers added depth to the forefoot, they have also made the midsole platform wider along its full length. More foam, more stability, what’s not to like so far?
The upper has also had an update to keep it aesthetically in line with the rest of the speed range from Brooks. Now, the upper resembles that of the Hyperion Elite 5. Fast looks go hand in hand with more breathability. A more versatile shoe, the Hyperion 3 is unplated and can act as either an uptempo trainer or a lightweight daily for those who prefer their feet to get a workout too.
Available in July 2025, you can test the Hyperion 3 for €150.

Brooks Ghost Max 3 Preview
The Ghost Max has won hearts as Brooks max cushioned daily trainer. The DNA Loft v3 remains as does the stack height of the 2. There are minor updates to the chunkiest Ghost, the upper has had a facelift to make it more in line with the Glycerin Max. However, the Ghost Max retains its place as a more steady and stable shoe. The midsole gains a longer rocker to make the ride even smoother than before.
Still the most affordable max cushion shoe of the Brooks 2025 road line up, you can pick up a pair in July 2025.

Brooks Ghost 17 Preview
Brooks’ worldwide best seller, the original Ghost, gets a big update. A thicker midsole and a lower drop are the main highlights of the new package. Now with a 36mm heel of DNA Loft v3 to add cushion to those pavement pounding strikes, the Ghost 17 has gone from a 12mm drop to 10mm.
You may have noticed that the Ghost is also looking a little racier than it used to. While it is still a daily miles focussed shoe, the upper has got a facelift. More streamlined, it has been brought more in line with Brooks’ speed day shoes.

Brooks Launch 11 Preview
Finally, we come to Brooks’ entry level daily running shoe. The aim here was to give elevated affordability. To do this, Brooks has changed the foam to DNA Flash v1 for the bulk of the stack. Added to this, they have popped a puck of DNA Flash v2 into the forefoot to add pop and fun. A more responsive shoe for a very reasonable price, it can be picked up in Spring 2025.
