Topo Athletic 2025 Line Up Introduction
Topo Athletic have a focus on foot shape. Following their design philosophy, the toe box is wide and accommodating while leaving room for the toes to spread. As a result of this and their fun midsole geometries, they have become a bit of a favourite among some of the Meta Endurance testers. From speed shoes to easy day cruisers the Topo Athletic certainly have a wide range.
How does that change with the Topo Athletic 2025 line up?
Topo Athletic Vista

Firstly, we have a brand new product in the Topo Athletic range. The Vista takes Topo the distance. Following athlete feedback, the design team created a max stack trail shoe for the 100+ distances. In addition to the distance, the Vista will take on the most technical of terrain with more aggressive 4mm lugs on the outsole.
Given that Topo was looking to add more, they have given the Vista the greatest stack height of any shoe in their trail range. 38mm in the heel and a 5mm drop will make sure the whole foot is cushioned. Moreover, the Zip Foam midsole is the softest version in their trail line. Sounds appealing, right?
Additionally, Topo have added to the comfort and technical abilities of the Vista with flex grooves and pods on the heel of the outsole. The 10.4oz weight and $170 dollar price tag balance each other out well. The Vista is available in May as part of the Topo Athletic 2025 line up.
Topo Athletic MTN Racer 4

Coupled with the Vista, Topo Athletic bring us the MTN Racer 4. Another shoe to take you into the wilderness of the trails. This time, the stack is lower for daily training in the mountains. The midsole has 33mm of stack and a 5mm drop while the outsole retains the aggressive lugs and Vibram rubber.
While some parts of the MTN Racer have remained the same, the TPU FKT midsole adds an extra softness and comfort to the ride. Consequently, the MTN Racer 4 will be more forgiving than the previous versions. Moreover, it will help drainage in the shoes for those soggy mountain moments.
Available in May 2025 for $150, tie MTN Racer 4 looks like a good option for getting those mountain miles in the legs.
Topo Athletic Cyclone 3

A non-plated, mid cushioned, uptempo trainer is always a crowd pleaser. The Cyclone from Topo is no exception. Therefore, the design team kept the midsole and outsole which everyone loved and worked on the upper.
The 28mm heel couples with a 5mm drop to keep things close to the ground. Furthermore, the weight of just 196g makes it a very appealing shoe for those who like to weight watch. In a similar fashion, the full PEBAX midsole brings responsiveness and bounce to the Topo Athletic 2025 line up.
In contrast to the lack of change in the midsole, the upper has had a facelift. More durable and offering greater lockdown, this will ensure that effort is rewarded on the road. If you want a locked down, low slung speed shoe, keep your eyes peeled in February 2025.
Topo Athletic Phantom 4

Finally, we come to the Phantom 4. This is the best selling shoe and the daily mileage monster of the Topo Athletic 2025 line up. Given that it is such a popular shoe, the changes hope to keep that familiar feel. Firstly, we find an extra 2mm of foam underfoot, this takes the midsole to 35mm with a 5mm drop to add more softness and cushion.
In addition to this, the Zip Foam gets a softer recipe to really accentuate the plushness of the Phantom 4. All the comfort in the world is no good if there is no grip. Given that, Topo have rebuilt the outsole to offer more traction on the road along with extra flexibility.
Available in May 2025 for a price of $145, it is a very competitive looking shoe for the daily market.
