Joma 2025 Line Up Introduction
The first people to introduce coloured football boots in the 1990s, Joma is a Spanish sportswear company with a surprisingly large range. At TRE, they have a whole swathe of releases for us to consider for our running delight.
What’s on offer from the Joma 2025 Line Up?
Joma R-5000
Coming in at around 240g, the R-5000 is the lightest shoe in the Joma 2025 line up. Carbon plated and marathon based, the shoe replaces the previous model which was unplated and mainly race walking based.
However, this version is definitely designed for running. The Fly Reactive foam and 6mm drop give good responsiveness whilst also offering a soft landing. Furthermore, at only €150, it is probably one of the cheaper carbon plated race shoes on the market.
Joma R-3000 and R-1000
Meanwhile, Joma also offer two other carbon plated speedsters. Firstly, the R-3000 offers a more aggressive ride for shorter distances. Harder and firmer, it really gives the feel of the carbon plate underfoot.
Next, the R-1000 offers a more flexible plate which gives a more forgiving ride. Consequently, it is not necessarily a shoe for the more elite runners. A more egalitarian shoe for a range of runners.
