Brooks 2026 Road Line Up Introduction
While they have always been known for their dependability, durability and quality, Brooks has had a bit of a speed issue. Their foams were stuck in yesteryear and their top end shoes were left a little lifeless as a result. 2025 saw a leap to the modern day with the addition of DNA Gold. The 100% PEBA foam added some real life to the line. Meanwhile, the DNA Tuned foam made their daily rides softer and smoother than ever before. The 2026 road line up also brings a couple of new shoes for the delight of runners everywhere.
Brooks 2026 Hyperion Elite 6
A 40mm stack of Brooks DNA Gold foam houses a Speedvault+ carbon plate which has been adjusted to an even more aggressive angle. Meanwhile, the RapidRoll Rocker has been adjusted to push you forward sooner to maximise your propulsion. The upper, a TPU pressed material, gives stretch where needed and grip where wanted. The whole package will help you push your bests even faster. If that’s not enough, the DNA Gold foam has had its recipe tinkered with to ensure more energy return.

Brooks 2026 Hyperion Max 4
The long run and tempo trainer which really benefitted from the addition of DNA Gold last year is back. This time, the 45mm of DNA Gold and DNA Flash v2 will soak up the miles underfoot. Meanwhile, the nylon Speedvault plate and RapidRoll Rocker get you onto tour toes and help you pick up the pace. The v3 of the Hyperion Max did have a very comfortable upper, however, it could be a little on the thick side. Brooks have redesigned the upper to make it more breathable while retaining the same strong lockdown with a gusseted tongue. This all sounds like it’ll make an already good shoe even better.

Brooks 2026 Ghost AMP
Every year there is a shoe which captures the imagination of the running community like no other. The Saucony Endorphin Speed, HOKA’s Mach 5 and last year, adidas EVO SL. Light, fun and fast (if you wanted it to be) it was 2025’s smash hit. From run clubs in coffee shops to pre-dawn dashers everyone had a pair. Brooks is hoping that the Ghost AMP will fit this niche and take the streets by storm in 2026. A brand new foam, DNA HYPE which blends EVA and PEBA offers both softness and bounce. In combination with this, we find the SpringRamp forefoot technology to help push off with power and purpose. Meanwhile, we find a breathable, secure upper to ensure the run goes off without a hitch. This all sounds very promising as does the $150 price tag. Let’s see if the promise delivers!

Up top, the mesh gives enhanced breathability which will be useful when the mercury starts to rise again. While it may not be the most exciting update to the range, the Ghost 18 looks like it will continue to deliver on the reliable running you need for a daily trainer. Brooks 2026 Glycerin Flex
DNA Tuned with a difference is the key highlight of this new shoe from Brooks, The large and small cell technology gives both a cushioned landing zone and a firmer, purposeful toe off. In other Brooks shoes, it has been placed as a thick slab of foam. The difference in the Glycerin Flex is given in the name. This version of the midsole has large flex grooves to allow the foot to work through the gait cycle. A real diametric shift to the growing number of plated shoes available on the market. While this may sound reminiscent of the Nike Free series, this is no waif of a midsole. With 36mm of DNA Tuned in the heel, the landings are sure to be soft. An exciting mix of technologies to reconnect you with the road and natural movement. One to keep an eye on.

Brooks Glycerin 23
One of the most trusted shoes in many rotations, the Glycerin is back for a 23rd iteration. Following the major redesign with the 22 which saw the addition of DNA Tuned foam to make the ride even softer and smoother, the 23 adds even more. The drop decreases by 2mm which means more cushioning in the forefoot. DNA Tuned is a combination of dual-cell technology. Big cells which give a soft landing and soak up the shock of the road are prevalent in the heel. Meanwhile, up front, we find a greater density of the small cells which are firmer and allow for a more energetic push off. The combination ensures a smooth roll through the gait cycle. If you are a heel striker, you will enjoy the depth of cushion at the rear. Meanwhile, those who strike further forward will find a responsive foam underfoot to help them push through the run.
As would be expected of a Brooks shoe, the upper offers a comfortable and accommodating fit with a new, improved engineered knit. Along with the comfort up top, the width of the platform and geometry of the midsole is sure to offer a more stable ride to be enjoyed by a wide range of runners.
