Saucony Endorphin Pro 5 Introduction
While their daily shoes and speed shoes may be near the top of the pack, Saucony’s race offerings have not always hit the mark. With some runners finding them too stiff and unforgiving, the Endorphin Pro hasn’t hit the heights of some other releases. In 2026, Saucony aims to change this with the release of the Endorphin Pro 5.
What’s new in this iteration? Let’s find out.
What’s new in the Endorphin Pro 5?
Firstly, we find a new plate set up in the midsole. This time round, we find a reshaped and slotted plate which will give a smoother roll through the gait cycle. Saucony says that this newly designed plate in the Pro 5 will also add more aggression to the ride. As before, the plate is embedded in a mix of PWRRUN PB and PWRRUN HG foams which were found in the previous iteration. Previous Saucony runners will know that these foams have proven their worth time and time again.
Aside from the new plate set up, we also find enhanced grip on the outsole. This will come as good news for runners who have experienced some heart-racing moments on sloppy corners in previous Saucony shoes. The release colourway is also sure to divide opinion. The bold black and pink may not be for everyone but they will help you stand out on the start line!
Endorphin Pro 5 Conclusion
Will these changes come together to put Saucony at the top of the podium on race day? That remains to be seen. But what is for sure is that Meta Endurance will continue to bring you the latest news on all of Saucony’s TRE releases during the week and beyond.
