Salomon 2025 Line Up Introduction
Salomon have great trail pedigree. Podium positions on mountains around the world show this regularly. However, their road shoes have not always kept pace. The Salomon 2025 line up looks to rebalance this with some exciting new midsoles and even a whole new market segment! Furthermore, if gravel paths are your thing, Salomon might just have the shoes for you!
Salomon Aero Glide 3

• Stack: 40mm
• Drop: 8mm

First, we have a wholesale redesign of the Aero Glide sees a brand new midsole to kick us off. Energy Foam Evo takes the Salomon super foam to the Aero line up. Overall, the Salomon 2025 line up also sees stack heights rising. Furthermore, there is an extra 3mm of foam brings the stack to 37mm.
Next, the drop of 8mm will get the foot rolling through the gait cycle. At 245g it is on the lighter side for a daily trainer with such a max cushion design. In addition, comfort is the main aim of the Aero Glide 3 with an upper inspired by a F1 driver’s glove. Consequently, all the stitching is on the outside to leave the foot in rub free comfort.
If you want to experience the cushioned comfort like Lewis Hamilton’s hand, you can hand over €160 when the shoe releases in March.

Moreover, to enhance the bounce, Salomon have added more foam. A further 35mm in the heel and an 8mm drop to improve the ride and comfort.
While the Aero Glide is focusses on max cushion comfort, the Blaze is the versatile sibling. From uptempo efforts to daily runs, this is the Salomon for you. Additionally, the weight of 230g adds to the attractiveness of the package. Moreover, despite all the upgrades the price remains the same at €140. You can grab a pair in July 2025

What’s more, with these two shoes, the Salomon 2025 line up looks to open a new market area. Gravel. Not quite trail but rougher than the roads. With this in mind, the road shoes with their supercritical foams have a gnarlier outsole for off road running. The Aero Glide 3 GRVL features 3.5mm lugs to grip the gravel. Meanwhile, the upper has had a couple of little tweaks. Additionally, the toe and heel have a little more protection than the roads.
Overall, the Aero Blaze 3 GRVL has the same recipe, a slightly toughened version of the 40mm and 8mm drop road shoe. Surprisingly, both shoes will share the same price as their road counterparts. You can get your dose of GRVL in 2025. May for the Aero Glide 3 GRVL and August for the Blaze 3 GRVL.

Get ready to significantly crush your trail goals with the all-new Salomon Pulsar, coming Summer 2025. This dynamic shoe is engineered for the trail runner who loves to speed down singletracks or cruise along favourite trails. Next, the midsole uses Energy Foam Evo, that same forgiving superfoam compound used in Salomon’s recent gravel and road running line ups. Despite extra cushioning, Salomon promises the Pulsar will stay nimble and responsive, even without a carbon plate.
We’re told to expect a lightweight and breathable upper, keeping your feet cool when the temps rise. 4mm lugs ensure solid traction on any surface thanks to Salomon’s well-loved Contagrip rubber. Overall, with a 6mm drop and a stack height of 29mm in the heel and 23mm in the forefoot, it’s a smidge heavier (280gr) but has that same fit and feel as the s/LAB but without the premium price tag. Consequently, at $150, it’s a steal for a shoe that blends comfort and speed so effortlessly. Ready to take your trails to the next level?
Salomon S/LAB Pulsar 4
