OAC Europe announced: six athletes with an Olympic future supported with LA 2028 in mind
On Athletic Club Europe: a counterpart to the Boulder team with younger talents
On May 3, 2022, On Running announced their new EU-based team called On Athletic Club Europe (“OAC Europe”). Co-CEO Marc Maurer and co-founder Olivier Bernhard were present for the introduction of six young athletes aged between 19 and 23. They represent the EU counterpart to the US team, that launched in 2020 and is based in Boulder, CO.
While the US team is made of more experience athletes targeting Paris 2024, the EU team recruited up and coming talents with the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games in mind.

The event also allowed for a quick little preview of the upcoming Cloudspikes, namely the On Cloudspike 10,000m and the On Cloudspike 1,500m.
