Nike 2026 Line Up Introduction

With the swoosh revealing so much during the year, there was little to tease at TRE. After the big releases of the Vomero line towards the end of the year which saw huge interest, TRE feels rather low key with only two shoes to be unveiled. We see one for the trails after Nike Trail merged with their ACG line and we see a stability shoe with a superfoam. Both are very interesting prospects for very different running styles. Let’s take a closer look at the Nike 2026 releases.

Nike 2026 Structure Plus

As with the Vomero and Pegasus we are expecting three models of the Structure. The Structure 26 base model has been around for a while and on the feet of many. TRE sees the release of the Plus. This is the elevated version of the shoe. Both the Vomero Plus and Pegasus Plus have a thick slab of ZoomX in the midsole. Could Nike put their unstable super foam into a stability shoe? Yes. That’s what they did. So, how does it work?

The new midsole set up sees a 42mm stack height at the heel in what must be one of the tallest stability shoes on the market. Nike studied the data of hundreds of runners to find the optimal mix of cushion and support. With the mix of ZoomX and ReactX, they think they have found it. A medial arch wrap combined with a lateral heel hold help to keep the runner supported while the ZoomX adds some sparkle to the ride. Will this work? That remains to be seen, it is certainly an interesting proposition and one we are keen to try out! If you are like us, I am sure you are intrigued to see what Nike has in mind for the Structure Premium. Superfoam and huge airbags in a stability shoe!?

Keep your eyes on the Meta Endurance channels across the internet to see the review when it lands!

Nike 2026 ACG Zegama

Following Nike’s big announcements of the Radical Airflow shirt and ACG Ultrafly in Chamonix, we get a pleasant surprise of a new trail shoe in San Antonio. Other than the change in branding, what’s new with the Zegama? Ruggedness is the name of the game, the most rugged shoe in the whole ACG line in fact. For the longest days in the mountains Nike have put together a shoe with a ZoomX and Cushlon 3.0 in the midsole. The combination will provide runners with the pop and energy return of a racing foam with the stability of Cushlon for rocky running.

With a new trail specific last promising to add room in the forefoot and toe-box along with a stretchy gaiter to keep out the muck, it looks like Nike have all bases covered. Thankfully, Nike have also gone with a Vibram outsole for both grip and durability on the trails. We will be able to see how it performs in the summer of 2026, perhaps in the mountains around Chamonix.
