Incylence Socks Group Review

Josh: Recently our team at Meta Endurance has had the opportunity to test a range of socks on offer from Incylence. The main three categories that we tested included their Ultralight range, Running range and Lifestyle range. Personally, I love these socks because of their bright colours and creative designs.

My personal favourite, the Ultralight socks, are a microfiber sock which offers exceptionally good breathability and heat regulation along with an exceptionally thin feel and comfortable fit. Consequently, I find myself using these socks as my go-to pair for fast training sessions or race day because I’d their light-weight feel and tight fit.

A Perfect Match

Silke: I like Incylence socks ans use several pairs.  Furthermore,  I am lucky that Incylence sent me a variety of three pairs of their sports socks. I got an Ultralight, a Classic Running and a Merino wool one.

For the warmer days and when I wear snug fitting running shoes I choose the Ultralight over nearly all of my other running socks. After three years of steady use one of my first pair has lost some of its colour, but still cannot find any holes. Although they are not padded specifically, but in most cases I am just happy the colours match my running shoes.

Cool Comfort

Andy: I have long been a fan of Incylence socks. In fact, I am a big sock fan in general. For me, the best day of running is one that begins with a brand new pair of socks on foot. It also helps if they look good too. Just because I run before anyone is up, doesn’t mean I don’t want to look good. This is where Incylence socks come in. I received 3 pairs in my bundle.

First, the Ultralight sock. This is Incylence’s super thin, amazingly breathable shoe for fast days and warm summers. Despite their incredibly thin material, these are some very durable socks. My oldest pair of Ultralight socks, which I bought myself, are pushing two years old and are still not worn through. I find the ultralight socks are perfect for snug fitting race shoes and spikes when the going is going to get warm. The breathability means that my feet are always fresh and extra bulk is not an issue.

Secondly, I received a pair of the regular Running range. These have slightly more padding but are by no means bulky. Again, I can attest to their durability as I have several pairs with thousands of miles in them. Aside from stains, they are still holding up brilliantly. These are excellent daily socks, no massive seams to rub against the foot and they hold up well. I prefer a higher cut sock and these stay put when I pull them on.

Next in the box were a pair of Merino Incylence socks. This was a first for me. I have never had anything from their Merino range before. However, this will not be the last pair I own. As would be expected, they are thicker than the other socks. This has proven very useful as manufacturers of shoes can’t seem to agree what size a shoe should be. Whilst the recent weather has not necessitated big wool socks, a couple of pairs of shoes I have recently tested have needed my feet to be a little bulkier. The Merino socks have padded me well with their extra bulk and also regulated the temperature well. I will definitely be investing in more as the winter draws in.

Finally, I received a pair of the Incylence Lifestyle socks. Whilst not running related, they are a very comfortable pair of socks which have seen me through long days on foot in my classroom under a pair of Dr Martens. Happily, they also match one of my favourite pairs of trainers for general mooching about.

Colour Matching Fun

Ivan: I received a nice box containing three pairs of Incylence socks, each with different materials and thicknesses. The thinnest is the ‘Ultralight,’ the thicker one is named ‘Running’ with extra padding in the toe and heel areas, and the third is the ‘Merino’ version.

I usually prefer medium-light thickness in my running socks, with some extra padding to ensure a secure fit due to my fairly narrow heels. The Incylence ‘Running’ version is my clear favourite, offering superb comfort and a structured feel without being too tight. In contrast, the Ultralight is too thin for my liking and lacks structure. I always appreciate Merino socks, not just for their temperature-regulating abilities, but also for their anti-odour qualities and reduced need for frequent washing.

I like the bright and playful colours. Matching them with my running shoes can be a fun little challenge that adds a bit of excitement to my routine.
