Super critical single density foam pushes the Mach 6 onto new heights of lightweight uptempo joy.

The Mach 6 is the latest and greatest of the Mach franchise.

The Mach 5 was soled with Hoka’s dual density foam system to create propulsion and protection, However, this update sees the end of dual foam in exchange for a single layer of super critical foam.

This is also the first shoe in Hoka’s Flight line to be soled solely in single density Super Critical Foam. Hoka’s designers have worked from the ground up to get you from training to race in plush comfort with a fun, lively ride. Aside from this, they have continued to be wallet friendly too with their price points. Good work, Hoka!

Super critical single density

A familiar feeling to many runners by now, a thick slab of single density, super critical foam to make running a joy. The Mach 6 is designed to be lightweight, super responsive and perfect for those uptempo days.

However, it is no one trick pony. It can also bring smiles to your daily miles too. Furthermore, for those who crave a single shoe rotation, the Mach 6 could be a race day favourite too.

If this sounds like the sort of shoe for you, keep your eyes open around March of 2024. The price is also very tempting too when compared to many upcoming shoes. $140 for a versatile, plush bundle of fun. Not bad at all!
