HOKA 2026 Road Line Up Introduction
HOKA are always a brand which is beloved by runners around the globe. The original maximalists have kept true to their ethos of offering maximum cushion and comfortable rides. Innovation is always close to the HOKA heart too. Shoes like the Skyward X really pushed the ideas of what a shoe can feel like. At TRE, we caught up with the crew to find out all about the HOKA 2026 Road Line Up. Which shoe takes your fancy the most?
HOKA 2026 Skyward X 2
The jewel of the HOKA 2026 Road Line Up is probably the Skyward X 2. It is certainly the biggest and most tech packed shoe they have on offer. This iteration sees a lower stack height and a retooled carbon plate to put runners in a more engaged stance from the off. HOKA have also taken on board feedback about the upper. Therefore, we find a redesigned upper which is also available in a wide fit! More Skyward X for everyone! The suspension midsole remains the same but the H shaped plate will give more of a lively ride than before. Definitely a shoe to watch out for as it competes against other monsters like the Vomero Premium.

HOKA 2026 Mach 7
If the Skyward X 2 isn’t your cup of tea, we find the slightly lower stacked Mach 7 in the line up. For fans of the Mach 6, not much has changed. A new upper and some stickier rubber under the toe to turn more power into pace about sums it up. However, it still retains that lively, bouncy feeling which made the Mach 6 such a fan favourite last year. With the ability to handle your daily miles but also push the pace for racier workouts, the Mach 7 offers some good bang for your buck. This might be the most versatile shoe in the HOKA 2026 road line up.

HOKA 2026 Clifton 11
A perennial favourite returns for an 11th edition. If you are hoping for a huge refresh, you might be a little disappointed here. 2026 sees only an upper refresh while the rest of the shoe remains the same. A softer mesh and an upgraded insole are sure to make the step in experience feel more welcoming. Other than that, the midsole foam and geometry remain the same with the ride unchanged.

HOKA 2026 Gaviota 6
While wild and lively shoes are a great thing to have, they are not always the best shoe for the job. Sometimes some simple stability is the order of the day. To fill this niche HOKA bring us the Gaviota 6. A stability shoe which offers a stable ride with a plush upper. This iteration sees an update to the H stability frame to smooth out the ride. Also, we find a plusher collar to keep your foot held in comfort. To add to the comfort and breathability, the mesh has had an upgrade too. It’s even managed to lose some weight along the way. Great news for those overpronators out there!

HOKA 2026 Arahi 9
Another minor refresh for the stability shoe. The midsole and stability elements remain the same as we found in the 8. As before, it features the H Frame to keep your gait on the straight and narrow. The biggest change for this iteration is the fancy new upper with silicon touch points for an enhanced upper feel and look.
