Saucony 2025 Line Up Introduction
The Saucony 2025 line up brings us some updates to old favourites while also introducing a whole new shoe. Besides the technical updates, there is one big return. The mutant colourway of the original Endorphin line is back in a big way. Let’s hope the nostalgic colour returns the magic touch of the first Endorphin Speed. Let’s take a look at what the line up has to offer.
Saucony Triumph 23
• Category: Road
• Stack: 37mm
• Drop: 10mm
• Weight: 260g | 9.2oz
• Price: $160
• Release date: June 2025
This year saw the Saucony Triumph 22 receive a near complete re-design. Correspondingly, this is the case with the Saucony Triumph 23! Firstly, the Triumph 23 features a new PWRRUN PB midsole compound. Overall, this is softer, and lighter than previous models which allows there to be a higher volume used on the shoe. Furthermore, the outsole coverage is strategically reduced to improve the gait cycle transition in the shoe.
Another update in the Triumph 23 over previous versions is the comfort of the upper. As a result, this has seen a drastic change in the fabric of the upper to improve the breathability of the shoe as well as giving a more dialed in fit. Paired with an increase in cushioning across the upper, especially in the heel, it improves lockdown and the comfort of the shoe. Finally, not only is the shoe more comfortable than its predecessor, it is also considerably lighter – weighing just 260g.
The Saucony Triumph 23 will be available for $160 in June for the Saucony 2025 line up.
Saucony Hurricane 25
• Category: Road
• Stack: 41mm
• Drop: 6mm
• Weight: 285g | 10.0oz
• Price: $165
• Release date: July 2025
As a premium max-cushion shoe, the Saucony Hurricane 25 has it all. Featuring a dual-compound midsole the Hurricane 25 contains a core of the same PWRRUN PB found on the new Triumph 23. This makes the midsole lighter and softer. Next, this is supported by a chassis of PWRRUN foam to increase the durability of the shoe as well as adding stability. Therefore, the geometry of the midsole features a wide base, high sidewalls and an asymmetrical geometry to improve the support and protection that the shoes offer.
The upper also features an update. Consequently, it is now composed of an engineered mesh as well as well placed plush cushioning elements.
Does all this sound too good to be true? Try them for yourself in July of 2025.
Saucony Endorphin Elite 2
• Category: Road
• Stack: 39.5mm
• Drop: 8mm
• Weight: 198g | 7.0oz
• Price: $275
• Release date: March 2025
One of the most controversial shoes released ahead of the Paris Olympics this year was the Saucony Endorphin Elite 2. It looks like it will be the star of the Saucony 2025 line up.
Featuring Saucony’s latest incrediRUN foam compound, it offers one of the softest rides on the market. This is coupled with a very bouncy ride. In addition, the midsole also includes a slotted full-length carbon fibre plate, similar to the one found in version 1.
Alongside the updates to the midsole, the Saucony Endorphin Elite 2 features an updated upper. The new upper is predominantly made of a breathable, durable mesh, including an integrated tongue to offer a snug, sock-like feel.
Saucony Endorphin Trainer
• Category: Road
• Stack: 41mm
• Drop: 8mm
• Weight: 238g | 8.4oz
• Price: $170
• Release date: June 2025
Next up, a new addition to the Saucony line-up this year is the Saucony Endorphin Trainer. Intended as their daily super-trainer, the Saucony Endorphin Trainer gives runners a taste of their top-of-the-line incrediRUN foam. In this case, it runs on top a chassis of PWRRUN (EVA based) foam. These two layers of midsole compound sandwich a ¾ length tear-drop shaped carbon fibre plate. Therefore, this offers a soft midsole feel paired with a propulsive toe-off.
Finally, the upper of the Saucony Endorphin Trainer is composed of a breathable, durable mesh. Furthermore, it features padding around the heel of the shoe to improve lock-down.
Saucony Endorphin Speed 5
• Category: Road
• Stack: 38mm
• Drop: 8mm
• Weight: 229g | 8.1oz
• Price: $170
• Release date: June 2025
Lastly, the Saucony Endorphin Speed will be getting an update in June of 2025. The midsole consists of PWRRUN PB. As a result, this maintains the bouncy, responsive and energised feel which has become synonymous with the Endorphin Speed. Another key feature is a flexible nylon plate which improves the stability and rigidity of the shoe, while also giving it that spring-board-like effect.
The upper of the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 has had major updates to improve the breathability and light-weight nature of the shoe. This very breathable and permeable upper is designed with an increase in race day focus over previous models. As a consequence, it has minimal protection and padding, this is especially noticeable around the toe box.
