Nike Pegasus 41 Preview: Extra Energy!

The workhorse with wings gets a total make over in its 41st edition. New foam and an inclusive line will ensure that daily dependability is available for all.

Pegasus 41: ReactX Takes Over

For over four decades, the Pegasus has been Nike’s dependable daily trainer. From the best runners in the world to people taking the first step on their running journey, it has given runners what they need. However, the Pegasus 41 brings all the daily dependability along with 13% more energy return. Along with the Pegasus Premium, the future looks bright for the range.

Along with increasing the impact on efficiency in your running, the 41 will also reduce your impact on the environment. The new ReactX midsole reduces the carbon footprint of each pair by 43%.

Coming in the new design of the Pegasus 41, we find a full length ReactX midsole which improves the energy return on the previous react foam. Paired with the new foam, Nike has placed a Zoom Air pod in both the heel and the forefoot. Consequently, wherever you strike, you will find smooth transitions and bouncy energy return. Nike also promises that the comfortable lockdown and fit from the Pegasus line will continue with a lighter, more breathable upper. Harnessing this upper to the midsole, we will also see Nike’s Dynamic Midfoot Fit system to keep everything in place.
